George Squier was of Hartford CT in 1845, also referred to in the claim was an Ephraim H. Squier Old Wars IF-#27515 who had lived in Upper Canada when he enl 13 Nov 1813 for srv in the War of 1812, he appl for disability pension 11 Feb 1847 at Lockport in Niagra Co NY & in 1846 he had lived in WI Terr, a son Hiram G. D. Squier was of Lockport NY in 1847 & the sol Ephraim H. Squier rec'd BLW #55 for 320 acres under Act of 5 Mar 1816.
